Founded in 1891, Bradford Schools Football Association has a long-standing tradition of nurturing talented young footballers across Bradford. We bring people together from diverse backgrounds in one of the largest districts to share a common goal which is to represent Bradford with pride. We rely on the community we build within the association and the Bradford community itself to support and back us.

Fundraising is much more than trying to raise money (although that really helps), it is about taking pride in what you represent and sharing new skills with our young people showcasing the talented footballers of Bradford and their commitment to representing their city with honour. When we do events like these are young players are often shy to start off with but you can see their confidence and self esteem grow throughout the day through the interactions with the community.

Each Year we like to bring the association together to celebrate each teams successes and give us some time together away from the pitch. In the past we have had events at Aldo'd Restrurant who supported us in the early days with fanstic sponsorship, Fields sports club who also provided us with facilities in our infancy and more recently at Habibs restruarant. This is an opportunity for players, familes and coaches to sit back enjoy, have some games, raffles, live music and a meal.

Our community is at the heart of everything we do. We believe that football is more than just a sport, it's a community, and we are dedicated to fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for fans from all over the world.

Back in 2023 we arranged a multi-team event for players family and friends to all enjoy and have fun in a inflatable 5KM fun run. We had over 75 representatives that day from Bradford schools raising over £3000 for the association

Community fundraising is an important part for us connecting with the local community. It offers opportunities for us to showcase who we are and what we are about but also for people who know or have been part of the history to let them know we are still carrying on the work and flying the flag for Bradford. We have had groups attend The Wibsey Spring and Christmas Fayre's running tombola stalls.

In 2024 the Under 15's organised and ran a Bradford Schools race night. This was to riase money for their up and coming Holland tour. Over 150 people attending the evening as the boys worked hard throughout the night to create a fantastic atmosphere that was had by all.

At the end of every Season we celebrate our players sucesses with an awards night. This is an opportunity to congratulate our players but also give thanks to people, parents, coaches and sponsors for supporting the association throughout the year. In previous years the Events have been supported by The Lord Mayor, ex-Bradford City players James Hanson, Billy Clarke and Danny Cadermateri.
